![]() Go back to the savedatapath.txt file and make note of the new path. ![]() NOTE: my save files here were named 20230317.abp_persistentgamedata1.dat Go to that location and make a copy of that folder for safe keeping.Mine was C:\Users\/Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Afterbirth / Open savedatapath.txt and note the location of Save Data Path.Go to the game's local files (click Browse under the Local Files tab in the game's Properties).Turn off Steam Cloud saves in the Steam Cloud settings.Open up the game, and click the button to Import Saves.Uninstall Repentance and keep Afterbirth and Afterbirth installed.If your save file is from Rebirth ONLY, start from step 1. After two hours of digging, I finally found a solution. I found that I had the import button available when I had uninstalled Repentance but kept Afterbirth and Afterbirth installed. Loading up Repentance, my save files weren't there and there was no option to import. ![]() I had been playing on just Rebirth for a while and then I bought all three DLCs together. This solution might not work for you (just as how all the other solutions didn't work for me), but this is what worked for me. ![]() Let me start by saying that I tried every solution I could find on the internet, including renaming "abp_persistentgamedata1.dat" to "rep_persistentgamedata.dat" in all the inconsistent locations that the saves seem to be located.
